Cal Lawyer profiled CW partner Alyssa Bell and her sister, Koren, a partner in Willkie Farr & Gallagher's Litigation Department, for the piece "Sisters in law: Sibling attorneys share their secrets to law school success." Alyssa and Koren spoke to the publication about their law school experiences, career trajectories, shared passion for social justice, and – most importantly – how their relationship has evolved while practicing law together.
"Koren is my North Star," Alyssa told Cal Lawyer. "I wouldn't be the professional that I am without her, and she's guided me into this career path and helped me navigate it every step of the way." Koren replied, "I would say the same things right back at [Alyssa]. There's no one else like her. ... She is, hands down, the most efficient and effective person. She accomplishes superlative work in a quarter of the time or less that it takes any other person of the same stature, and she's doing such cutting-edge legal thinking, has gotten some of the most interesting, high-profile appellate representations."
